Details:	SUMMARY: Compliance with Groundwater Rule DETAILS: The system has a groundwater source that provides drinking water to the 150 students and faculty. There is a single well just to the west of the school. The school well has positive coliform results. There have been positive coliform results and positive E coli samples. The EPA Groundwater Rule mandates that corrective actions are taken to either fix the source problem, or provide for 4-log treatment of the viruses that would be associated with positive E Coli results. The school has chosen to install chlorination at this point. HBH was contacted by the school to provide assistance with ensuring compliance with the Groundwater Rule. HBH visited the school to inspect the equipment and area available for installation of either tankage or additional piping to provide for adequate contact time to meet the 4-log inactivation of viruses. ACTION NEEDED: Complete recommended report.
