| Details: | SUMMARY: Questions regarding cartridge filtration system DETAILS: Jim called about compliance with cartridge filtration system per letter sent by DWP. The existing system at the facility was approved under LT1 and consists of a Harmsco HUR-40-P housing (acceptable) which should be matched with a Harmsco PPHC40-1 filter (LT1 approved pleated cartridge filter with 1 micron absolute pore space). They currently have a different filter (HC40AC-5) which is an activated carbon filter with nominal 5 micron pore space and not approved. He will replace the filter with PPHC40-1 filters and continue to use the approved filter (PPHC40-1) henceforth. ACTION NEEDED: Jim will submit response to DWP per our conversation and documenting existing system. | ||
