| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to E. coli DETAILS: Contacted Amy Parmenter about next steps after the + source water sample. Amy said under the GWR, the system needs to take five additional source confirmation samples and recommend one distribution. If any of the confirmation samples come back +, the system will need to post boil water notice. I informed her the system may not comply with the taking of the repeat samples and asked if I should then require them to host the boil water notice. Amy said yes and to talk to Russ. Russ is out until Monday 8/30. I called Mary to explain the next steps. She said she talked to Jay MacPherson last week and he said the system might save some money and just do the MPA. She did not want to take the repeat samples or post the boil water notice. Amy called back to let me know the system would only need to post a Tier 2 notice. I called Mary back to let her know.
