| Details: | SUMMARY: Responded to Alert for Total Coliform DETAILS: Called "Bella Casa" 07/30/10 at 9:30am-- talked with Ed and Karen Barlow (new park operators) and told Ed to take five repeat samples today (which he said he will be doing today 07/30/10). Told Ed to take a "raw sample" from the well head, a sample from the kitchen sink tap, and another sample within five distribution points after original source. I also advised Ed to take fifth sample at the end of distribution system, all while reminding him to follow procedure when taking samples. Was advised by Frank Kelisch (sp on last name), who is with the State DWP, that the Contact does not need to advise residents of a Tier 1 "boil water" notice because the sample was the original sample that was taken from distribution system and that there needs to be a confirmation of E. coli before the Tier 1 notice is implemented. Frank has contacted Ed/Karen Barlow (Park Contact) to talk about post hypo chlorination and other prophylaxis of water system. 07/20/10 @ 4pm ACTION NEEDED: Delta Environmental Services Inc. Had faxed Ed instructions on where to take the five repeat sample. | ||
