| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform/Ecoli DETAILS: Had email conversation with Fred Kalish, Shawn Stevenson and Jay MacPherson regarding positive Ecoli and what next stip would be. It appears that the issue stems from the 1,000 gallon cistern used for storage. The treggered source sample was positive for coliform but absent for Ecoli. The source sample taken as one of the 5 routines was absent for both. Operator can continue with plan review to install proposed chlorination system. Assessment moniotring would be required after installation. I called and left message for Mike McCarter. 12/15/10 Received phone call from Mike. We discussed the problem seems to be stemming from the cistern. He indicated they drained the cistern to clean it and found a family of mice. The cistern was then cleaned and chlorinated. I informed him that plan review was still required to install permanent chlorinator. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
