| Details: | SUMMARY: Treatment System Troubleshooting/Reconfiguration DETAILS: The Belloni Boys Ranch owns and operates a small water system that pulls water from Davis Creek and treats the water to comply with the LT1. Treatment is achieved through Strainrite bag filters with post chlorination. The water is then pumped up to a 5,000 gallon water storage tank, from there the water gravity feeds back down to the primary residence and school. HBH was contacted by Coos County and the school to provide assistance with the operation and/or reconfiguration of the water treatment plant. During normal operation, the treatment plant is able to produce water for only one week, then the pressure loss in the Strainrite Filters becomes such that water cannot be delivered to the tank at the top of the hill. HBH reviewed collected raw water data and reviewed recommendations with Belloni Boys Ranch. System’s staff is working on installing some of the recommendations. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to work with school to develop a solution to their water treatment needs. | ||
