Details: SUMMARY: Responded to coliform alert DETAILS: spoke with Jeff. 2 of the 5 samples are positive. The public notice is being updated. Jeff will send Lane County a copy. Jeff is still not sure why the positive coliform in the system. Discussed the well being located underground could possibly be taking in excess surface water. Told Jeff to check the well head to make sure everything is properly sealed. Going to shock chlorinate the well again. 4 repeat samples are required within the next 2 weeks at least 5 days after shock chlorinate. 5 temporary routine samples required by the end of march. Jeff was frustrated with the number of samples the system has to submit. ACTION NEEDED: 4 repeat samples one from the source and 3 from the distribution. 5 temporary routine samples due by the end of march 2011
