| Details: | SUMMARY: plan review update DETAILS: I talked to Mark today, first about calculating RAA for TTHMs, but I asked about the plant also, since this project is not finaled out. They still need to do a tracer study, which he will talk to HBH (as their consultant, not the circuit rider) about doing. They have 2 pumps that pump out of the clearwell and I told him the tracer study has to be done at the combined flow at a minimum. They also are trying to resolve their THM problem, and plan to add a coagulant, with a backwashable pre-filter upstream of the membrane plant to remove TOC. It is a pilot for now until they determine if it works or not. Since details were not included in the original plan, I asked him to submit some info as to what they are doing (can go under the same PR#222-09). ACTION NEEDED: write an "ok to use" email or letter for the plant, documenting the max pressure decay rate, confirming sample tap locations, the required use of the wells to blend the pH for corrosion control. | ||
