Details: | SUMMARY: Copper over the 90% DETAILS: Copper over the MCL. Results show 1.7 MCL is 1.3. Left message for Sharon and sent email describing what to do next. System has slowly been increasing there copper levels over the past several years indicating treatment is most likely going to be the best resolution. The rules require confirmation sample and water quality parameters (First time only ) Initial parameters involve: 2 sets of pH. Calcium and alkalinity measurements collected at each entry point approximately 2 weeks apart. Same required in distribution system for coliform sampling sites preferred. Accuracy of these field measurements I critical especially with pH, lab analysis Number and frequency of water quality parameter measurements is based on population. Submit treatment recommendation to Lane County . Source water monitoring: Must collect source water Pb & Cu (Lead & Copper) samples within 6 months of exceedence. Sample results used to determine source water Pb & Cu contribution. Samples must be flushed, not standing ACTION NEEDED: Confirmation sample required along with WQPs. Waiting for results. | ||
