| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on lead/copper action level exceedence DETAILS: Spoke to Hans about his documentation of follow up activities since the August 2004 lead action level exceedence. He indicated the August 2011 tap samples were taken at all the available taps at the mill, and that most all plumbing is PVC, therefore he has no tier 1 or tier 2 sites. He also indicated that the current locations are consistent with the 2000 sample locations, and that only the nomenclature has changed. ACTION NEEDED: Hans to submit copy of lead public education materials distributed at the mill to me ASAP. Hans will also replace the valves that lead to the high lead level before the water softener that exceeded action level. System will then retest wellhead and high location prior to softener. Hans to take 2nd six month round of lead/copper tap samples between Jan and Jun 2012. DWP to follow up with Columbia County to ensure 2004 action level is adequately responded to. | ||
