| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil Notice Still in Effect DETAILS: I called Ludek at about 11:30 am to get an update on coliform testing that was anticipated to be completed this week. He said that he had not had a chance to open the mail and asked if I wanted him to call when he got results back. I said yes. At about 1:30 PM, I called Alexin Analytical labs to see if they had results. Alexin returned my call stating that they hadnt analyzed any samples since August 10, 2011. I called Ludek back to ask him which lab he used and he said Alexin. I explained that Alexin had not received any samples since August 10th. I explained that he needs to call them when a sample needs to be taken. I explained that until a sample is taken and demonstrates an absence of coliform bacteria, that the boil notice would remain in effect. I asked him to send a copy of the notice and information on what dates the notice was posted. I also asked him if the UV system was working and he said it was still blinking red. ACTION NEEDED: System to sample for coliform bacteria and repair UV system so that it shows that it is working before the boil advisory can be lifted. | ||
