| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to HAA5 exceedence over MCL DETAILS: I spoke to Bob on 9/26, after emailing out to Bob and Micah Olsen on 9/13 the implications and necessary actions to address the 8/31/11 exceedence of the HAA5 MCL at Hanhi Drive, value was 0.0636 mg/L. Bob unaware of any reasons, no changes to chlorination at system, and this is 1st ever DBP sample takem. I clarified that system to begin quarterly monitoring right away for both HAA5 and TTHM, and MCL compliance based on running annual average of 4 quarterly results. Indicated if running average > MCL, modifications to chlorination or treatment may be necessary. Clarified approach for getting to reduced (annual monitoring). ACTION NEEDED: System to begin quarterly monitoring for TTHM & HAA5 at Hanhi Drive site in 4th quarter 2011. DWP to re-evaluate running average after conclusion of 4 quarters (after 2nd qtr 2012) and compare to MCL for HAA5. | ||
