| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli Positive Alert Response DETAILS: Received alert for TC+/EC+ result from routine sample colleced 12/29/11. Spoke with Jeff. He checked the UV unit after getting the test result and discovered the bulbs were out. New bulbs and quartz sleeves are on order to arrive Thursday 1/5/12. I advised that four repeat samples and one triggered source sample should be collected on Monday 1/9 after the bulbs are replaced. Jeff said that the water is not being used for anything unless it is boiled first, and the soda fountains are shut down. He did not think the unit has an auto-shut off solenoid switch for when the lamps are out, but it does have an audible alarm that apparently malfunctioned. Sent Rusty Rock with the Ag. Dept. info on public notice, boil water FAQ, licensed facility guidance. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to replace bulbs, collect repeat and source samples. | ||
