| Details: | SUMMARY: Plan Review Inspection PR 109-2009 DETAILS: Fred Kalish and Evan Hofeld conducted a site visit of the distribution storage tank, pump, and pressure tank system housed in a structure located behind the restaurant. The tank appeared to be installed on a sand bed foundation on a level site and the structure was uninsulated and unlocked. The tank overflow was also open to atmosphere at the tank bulkhead fitting and lacked a screen or flap valve. It was recommended that a lock be placed on the door to the structure and that the overflow to the tank be fitted with a fine mesh insect screen to keep out insects, rodents, and birds as soon as possible and that a follow-up letter would be sent regarding the status of the plan review. ACTION NEEDED: System to place a lock on the structure and screen the overflow to the tank as soon as possible and await subsequent written instructions from DWP on how to proceed with obtaining final plan approval. | ||
