| Details: | SUMMARY: Resolution of Priority Noncomplier(PNC) DETAILS: System had a score of 13 and had two total coliform MCL violations. The first two quarter coliform samples of 2012 have been absent for total coliform. I performed a water system survey on 4/19/12 and spoke with the operator about what they did to resolve the problem. Jim indicated they had Fisher Pump out in October to pressure disinfect the well. They chlorinated the well and pressurized the case. Jim believed they also followed it up with a vinegar treatment. After the well and distribution system was flushed Jim took three coliform absent samples on Oct 17, 2011. One sample was at the source with two sample in the distribution system. A Fisher pump tech helped Jim improve this sampling technique. I emailed Chuck at the state on 5/2/12 to have the MCL violations returned to compliance (RTCd) The violations were RTCd on 5/3/12. The system score is now 3. ACTION NEEDED: System is no longer a PNC and is back in compliance. | ||
