Details: | SUMMARY: Consumer Complaints DETAILS: Spoke with Les on phone regarding a few consumer complaints. I asked him to start making a written record including details of any complaint related to the safety and sanitation of the water system. I understand this to be an actual requirement. A complaint log would allow me to talk to a resident making the complaint and verify details. Examples of complaints of merit: lack of pressure, excessive chlorine, matter in pipes. Examples of complaints of potential interest: Bad odor. Les was concerned that some calls may be from residents in process of eviction and might just be getting back at the property owner. I promised to encourage unhappy callers to speak to him directly to make complaints but in some unusual instances I might be willing to call him on someone elses behalf. I informed Les of my intent to send him a letter restating our conversation. ACTION NEEDED: System to document both any consumer complaint and actions taken to resolve it. |
