| Details: | SUMMARY: Corrosion control treatment DETAILS: System worked with HBH and received their recommendation on March 19, 2012. HBH is recommending they use caustic soda to raise the pH of the water to 7.4. Operator was also interested in adding water softening to the system He had heard that it can help with lead and copper issues. HBH explained the addition of water softening would lower the DIC levels and that would in turn lead to the conclusion that soda ash addition would be the best solution, thus creating a treatment circle. Therefore water softener is not recommended. Jim received a bid from Cascade Water Works and lakeshore Mobile Estates accepted the bid. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
