Details: SUMMARY: Andrew contact regarding coliform DETAILS: Andrew contacted our office for technical assistance regarding the recent coliform. We discussed methods for shock chlorinating the well. We discussed performing a site visit to help them. We also discussed recent alterations to the water system that were not formally approved via plan review with the state. Reportedly system has removed the chlorine injection system as well as the pipe baffle system that was installed in 1998 to create adequate CT. ACTION NEEDED: System was informed that county health wishes to perform a site visit to assess the situation and continue the technical assistance begun during this phone call. WE will likely perform the site visit on 6/13/12. County Health may perform a full survey during that site visit. System was advised to shock chlorinate the well following this weekend. Also advised to allow the chlorine residual to completely dissipate prior to taking follow up coliform bacteria tests (temporary routine ) in June
