| Details: | SUMMARY: Corrosion Control Study DETAILS: Twilight View Estates is a small community water system serving approximately 50 persons through 22 connections. The water source for the water system is a well. The well was designed to provide 350 gpd per connection for a total production capacity of 7,700 gpd. The copper test from September 2010 showed a level of 2.30 mg/L, which exceeds the Action Level (Table 1). The EPA Action Level for copper is 1.35 mg/L. This level was also exceeded in May 2002 when copper level was reported at 1.7 mg/L. The water system has not exceeded the Action Level for lead. HBH was contacted by the water system to provide assistance with the Copper Level Exceedence and associated corrosion control or other actions. Completed analysis report for corrosion control based on lab results. ACTION NEEDED: Provide further guidance regarding implementing recommendations. | ||
