Details: SUMMARY: Resolution of Priority Non-Complier (PNC) DETAILS: The system had a score of 22.20 of the points are from MCL violations for nitrate. The system treats for nitrate removal but had been having trouble with the nitrate removal treatment system. The owner has been working with a local company to try to solve the issue. They have replaced numerous parts and were having limited success. They found that a valve they had previously installed was defective and replaced it with a functional part. The treatment system is now working properly. The system operator faxed this office a copy of the nitrate results of .92 on sample date 5/25/12. I faxed this to the state. I sent a request to the state to return to compliance (RTC) the MCL violations. These were RTCd on 6/6/12. The system score is now 0 ACTION NEEDED: Continue to monitor nitrate results and monitor if necessary
