| Details: | SUMMARY: 5 assessment samples Ecoli and coliform positive DETAILS: Silas Olson contacted me about the detections. I instructed them to issue a boil water notice immediately. I also spoke with Melvin and he informed me the well casing for well AA is deteriorated and they are considering using the back emergency well SRC-BA but it also has Ecoli in the source water according to a special source sample that was taken. I sent a request to Tom Patte to review both wells. Silas and Melvin are proposing to install 4 log disinfection by adding multiple contact chambers. I am waiting for more details of what they are proposing and to hear back from Tom regarding the well evaluations. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up with operator and the state. | ||
