| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on E. coli positive sample at well #2 DETAILS: Spoke to Curt at 11a on 11/29 about 11/9/12 EC+ sample at well #2 (triggered after routine coliform positive on 11/7). We discussed taking 5 confirmation samples at the wellhead after ensuring that there is no chlorine residual at the well, so that the well would not be influenced by the shock chlorination performed earlier. Curt indicated no chlorine residual at the well as of 11/28. He has bottles and plans to take the 5 confirmation samples today, if residual is again 0 ppm. ACTION NEEDED: System to take confirmation samples at well #2 asap. DWS to support Columbia County in determining next steps based on results of those samples. I reminded Curt to also take 5 temporary routines in December from approved locations in the park, due to the November positive. | ||
