Details: SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: I received copied on email from Ken the that sent to the residents regarding the positive repeat samples. The email explained they had a positive repeat coliform sampling the distribution system only one sample taken and they took a triggered source sample at the well which was also positive. The email explained the process of shock chlorination the system to the residents. I forwarded him an unresolved coliform public notice template for the MCL violation and explained the process for filling it out and sending it back. I also included the coliform health information document pointing out eh information on shock chlorinating as well as links to the state website shock chlorination section. He called me later in the morning. We discussed filling out the public notice I recommended taking a special sample after shock chlorination and the need for five temporary routine samples for October. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of special sample if taken and temporary routine distribution samples if taken.
