| Details: | SUMMARY: TCR violation status after 5 clean temporary routine samples DETAILS: Duane phoned in to say that the 5 temporary routine samples taken before the end of December were absent for coliform. Now what? I told him that means he is now off the hook for the TCR violation in late November, and that violation can be returned to compliance. Corrective action consisted of: inspecting all wells and the storage tank for any gaps in sanitary seal, flushing the system and storage tank, and taking a few more distribution samples in early December (all were absent, though not in our database if "specials"). I will clarify with Duane that his monthly routine sampling must start in January, as today I mistakenly said on the phone that it would be in February. ACTION NEEDED: Ask data entry folks to change the listing of the 5 samples taken on 12/27/12 to temporary routines (rather than repeats). Request that the TCR violation be returned to compliance. Phone Duane to clarify that his next monthly sample should be taken within the month of January. | ||
