Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to complaint DETAILS: Received a call from tenant, Mary saying the park has not had water since 5 pm on Feb 4th. Called operator, Darrell, he is working out of town but aware of the problem and has been dealing with it. He said that pump #1 has a broken main and pump #2 has electrical issue he thinks is a bad breaker. He did not notify customers. He was informed to provide bottled water and let customers know the situation. He did phone an electrician. Melissa and I took out a public notice template, shock chlorination procedures and BMPs for water line break/loss of pressure. We gave to Frank in space #49. Frank called and said electrician could not repair tat they have to pull the pump. 1:00pm left message with Darrell to fix ASAP the water break. Feb.6 message from Darrell that water is running they have shocked and still providing bottled water. I called Frank to verify he said yes. He said they put 1 cup bleach in 1 gallon water and added 2 gallons of this to each reservoir tank. I asked what the chlorine level is and he said 4ppm. I asked him to check this and call me back. He called back and said 1.5ppm. Tenants have called asking if they can wash clothes. They were told yes they can but should not drink it. Unable to verify if system is actively flushing the lines. 2:30pm Melissa went out and took a chlorine sample at space #6. 0.0ppm detected. ACTION NEEDED: none |
