| Details: | SUMMARY: Source samples show positive for Ecoli DETAILS: Received results from lab on 1/3. Consulted with Betsy Parry at state regarding CT calculations for system then paid a second site visit with Brent. Scott and Tami were still reporting no residual as measured at the hosts unit. I presented the CT results and gave them logs to use for documenting a very conservative CT of 0.5ppm. We went over how to use the test kit with both of them but actual readings today were zero. We discussed Chlorination of well as a possibility but it presents logistical problems because there is no good access point for introducing chlorine especially if there is significant artesian flow and not good way to mix any chlorine you could manage to introduce. Emphasized the need to stabilize chlorine residuals as the priority for now. Public notice is still up and they are still offering bottled water to patrons. By the time we left we were able to see chlorine delivering to the reservoirs again. See attachment for dates 1/16 ACTION NEEDED: Boil notice still in effect pending stable residual and routine temporary results. They will need to do monthly sampling thereafter of the source water so getting a good sample tap in place nearer the well would be helpful. | ||
