Details: SUMMARY: storage tank rehab DETAILS: The City of Rieth is having some storage tank maintenance done. Bruce Larkin, Wilber Fletcher Inc, is performing the work. Tank is being metalized, sand blasted and new epoxy seal. The outside will also be repainted. Epoxy used is from International: Bar-Rust 233H - Surface Tolerant Epoxy. It is NSF approved. After application and curing, Larkin will disinfect the tank to AWWA standards. The disinfection procedure was faxed in to the Pendleton office on 4/26/13. A special sample post disinfection, collected on 5/1/13, was absent of coliform bacteria. Tank is cleared for use by the water system. ACTION NEEDED: none
