Details: SUMMARY: Quarterly nitrate results 10.6ppm DETAILS: I met with Paul and Kim Patten on Monday 3/26/13 to discuss issues with effluent discharge from floor stripper chemicals into the water system and required follow up testing. They will be meeting with Brian Bolling of the DEQ lab to discuss testing protocols. A letter will be sent to the school district regarding testing requirements,. During the meeting we discussed progress with nitrate remediation at the school. A conditional approval has been granted for the installation of an ion exchange unit which would happen before 6/30/13. They received criteria in the conditional approval letter for nitrate testing once the ion exchange ahs been installed. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor progress of ion exchange unit installation and follow up testing monitor test results of floor stripper chemicals
