| Details: | SUMMARY: + ecoli in distribution DETAILS: notified me that the lab called him and told him that he had a + ecoli source sample. Later in the day I contacted the lab because I hadnt received an alert for the + ecoli. Maria from Waterlab said the source sample was only + for TC. 7/25/13 made a site visit to the camp. "Do not drink the water" signs posted at all spigots in the camp. Camp did not have the official Boil Water notice posted. I gave them a copy of the template and asked them to post it immediately. Bottled water used for drinking. They had a 300 gallon water tank in use for the kitchen. The well water Louie said he turned in 5 additional source samples and labeled them special. We told him he because the didnt not have a + ecoli at the source they would be able to shock the system. Louie planned on shocking the system tomorrow, Friday. 7/26/13 contacted Louie to verify what water was being used in the temporary 300 gallon storage tank. He said they filled it with water at the neighboring PWS # 95287 Linn Co Parks Riverbend. He said he got the results of the "special" samples and they were + for TC not ecoli. He was having the well shocked today. I sent him an email outlining the requirements for lifting the boil notice. ACTION NEEDED: We will need 5 distribution samples and one source sample. The locations of the 5 distribution samples should be from the kitchen, outside bathroom hose bib, one cabin, one RV hookup and one from the restroom. In addition we still need a copy of the Boil Water notice that is posted."I still hadnt received the alert for the source sample that was + for TC. I contacted Waterlab and they said Louie marked it as a special. Maria from Waterlab stated that it was only + for TC. She said I would have to get the sample changed to a repeat. I asked her to fax us a copy and she said she couldnt do it until Monday. | ||
