| Details: | SUMMARY: Request for invalidation of violation 3473909 DETAILS: System received a TG E.Coli posiive sample on 12/10/12, in reference to results ID# 21204903AA (as noted in SDWIS). This sample was incorrectly labeled by the GP Water lab as having been pulled from the well head, when in fact this sample was pulled from just upstream in the distribution line of the well head. The above violation references 5 more repeat samples at the well head were never taken-- however the 5 repeat samples were not necessary because the above results ID#21204903AA is not a ture sample of the well head. On ~ 12/13/12, the GP Water lab called me and said they had made the above mistake in referencing the sample as having been taken from the well head. The lab indicated to me the sample had not been taken from the well head, but again had been taken upstream of the well head in the distribution line. The Grants Pass (GP) lab then further explained he would pull a true representative TG sample from the well head itself, and this is the sample in SDWIS dated 12/12/12 and referenced results ID# 21205038AA. This sample in fact returned negative for E. Coli, hence an additonal 5 repeat samples at the well head itself would not be required. because the orignal sample was not a ture sample, I am requesting the invalidation of the above violation, and that the sample taken on 12/20/12 be noted as a true representation of a TG sample for the well head.
