Details:	SUMMARY: Nitrates DETAILS: Met with the new owner of this licensed R.V. park to review water system requirements and answer any questions. Discussed with Mr. Montgomery the increasing level of nitrates in the well water and required him take quarterly Nitrate and Coliform samples. Examined well #2 which is installed in a pit below grade with a well house around it. Remove paints and other chemicals from this structure. Suggest installing roof rain gutters on the adjacent laundry building and collecting and directing that runoff away from the below grade well. Examined well #2 and suggested better well head protection, better seal on the pitless adaptor and installation of a raw water sample tap for this source. Mr. Montgomery is to work with the former owner to determine the layout of the piping for the drinking water system and for the on-site waste water system within the Park. Discussed developing a coliform sampling plan and an emergency response plan (E.R.P.) . ACTION NEEDED: Get map of the drinking water distribution system. Find the intertie valve (entry point) between well #1 and #2. Begin quarterly Nitrate sampling. Work on coliform sampling plan and E.R.P.
