Details: | SUMMARY: Lead 90th Percentile AL Exceedance DETAILS: I received an alert for a lead 90th percenile value of 0.018 mg/l calculated for a round of 10 tap samples collected in September 2013, which is over the lead Action Level (AL) of 0.015 mg/l. I notified the system that public education materials must be issued within 60 days and that the individual homeowners at which the sampling ws conducted would need to be provided with a locpy of the lab results for their home. I provided a link to the lead and copper ruled under OAR 333-061-0034(5) regarding lead AL exceedances. Daniel Waterbury let me know that they were working on the public education matterials on October 4th and I provided Dan with more resources and a detailed breakdown of the requirements following a lead AL exceedance. ACTION NEEDED: 1) Within 30 days, deliver a Consumer Notice for those 10 customers who had their water tested for lead and copper in September 2013-- 2) Within 60 days, deliver Public Education materials to all customers-- 3) Report of the results of the lead and copper tap samples in the Consumer Confidence Report for CY2013-- 4) Sample any customers water for lead if requested by that customer-- 5) Begin 6-month rounds of lead and copper tap sampling from 20 sites (schedule effective 1/1/14 and subject to change based upon at least two 6-month rounds). | ||
