| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to Portland Joint Monitoring Program lead action level exceedance DETAILS: Andy documented the activities that the District is taking as a result of the Portland joint monitoring program lead action level exceedace at the 90th %tile of samples taken during July - December 2013, which was 0.0159 mg/L. The District is updating the English & Spanish brochure and will be mailing to all customers & will place on website. The mandatory EPA language will appear on water bills in the next billing cyle. Also, copies of the brochure will be mailed to schools, health care providers and child care facilities, and letters were mailed to high risk customers. I indicated that the brochure content meets DWS requirements. On 1/15/14, I forwarded an email to the District documenting the lead public education requirements as a result of the recent exceedance. ACTION NEEDED: DWS to continue to field questions on this topic from the District as necessary. | ||
