Details: SUMMARY: 4th quarter sample TC+, history of TC+ at this PNC DETAILS: 12/20/13 spoke to Tammy Maurer-- she indicated that the last TC+ sample had been taken after an attempt to chlorinate, but that they had probably under dosed-- they took a special sample that came back clean, but the next regulatory sample was + again. This weekend they plan on reconfiguring their existing system components so that the holding tanks are upstream of the UV light, i.e.UV on demand. They will also install drainage valves so that tanks can be cleaned of sediment, and a valve so that one tank can operate independently of the other. Then they will chlorinate everything, including the well. They were advised of fact sheets re: dosing and procedures available from DWP website. PN still up from before, but they were instructed to update it, and send a copy to state.She will update me when the work is complete. ACTION NEEDED: none
