Details:	SUMMARY: Update on reopening of Shotgun Rec Site DETAILS: Shotgun- Spoke to Paul today about sampling the water system distribution within the first quarter of opening, the campground is not open yet. I just conferred with the state since they are adding back the chlorination system from last year they do not need to go through plan review. Shotgun will need to do monthly source sampling while they are operating this year. I will put an assessment schedule in SDWIS for monthly source sampling from May-September.They do have until June since they only sample quarterly to collect the distribution sample but we encourage you to do it as soon as you are open to the public. Since you are adding chlorination this will trigger new source sampling monthly during your operating period . ACTION NEEDED: Collect quarterly distribution samples and monthly source assessment samples.
