| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up on 5/6 routine TC+ DETAILS: Phil called on 5/9 as he has taken 4 repeats to the lab today (5/9) after the 5/6 routine total coliform positive, E. coli absent. The original positive was taken at an outdoor tap that may be used to wash rabbits with a small garden hose attached to collect the sample. Phil took a repeat at this same address but an another tap (an outdoor hose bib) that did not have any attachments on it. He also took repeat samples within 5 connections up, within 5 connections down, and at another location in the distribution. We discussed that coliform samples are not to be collected with any hose or attachment and to be at taps commonly used for drinking water, not animal washing. I notified Phil of total and acute MCL violation implications if repeats are total or E. coli positive. ACTION NEEDED: Phil to discuss any follow up action or public notification for positive results with DWS-after hours DWS # provided to Phil. Phil will remove the outdoor hose bib used to wash rabbits, from coliform sampling plan. System to take 5 temporary routines in June regardless of result. | ||
