| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine E coli positive DETAILS: Received call from Rick regarding a routine E. coli positive and routine total coliform positive samples collected on Monday, August 4th. Three repeat (i.e., upstream, downstream and original sites) samples will be collected for each routine positive, in addition to triggered source water samples. All three wells were in use at the time when the positive samples were collected. The system has an approved common header for source water samples, therefore three source water samples will be collected at CH-A. We discussed the 24-hour public notice/boil water advisory if repeat samples are positive. Rick or Ed Pugh will call on Friday when sample results are available. On Friday Aug. 8th, received call from Ed at DVWD. The repeats and source samples came back absent. Received sample results from laboratory. ACTION NEEDED: Talk to system next week about 30-day public notice requirements. |
