Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The City of Myrtle Point has a conventional water treatment plant which treats water from the North Fork of the Coquille River. The water system has 1100 customers and a population just under 2500 persons. Disinfection is provided by a Miox mixed oxidant/NaOCl generation system after the rapid sand filtration. Chlorine contact takes place in a 95,000-gallon clearwell and then a 1-MG and 2-MG reservoir operated in parallel. The Circuit Rider was contacted by the City Engineer to provide assistance with a contact tracer study. The data collection and draft study were completed in late 2012. The report was not finalized due to some operational questions. Finalized the tracer study. Added more information regarding Log Inactivation Compliance, a section on the baffling factor, and CT Tables. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time. |
