Details: | SUMMARY: Copper alert follow up DETAILS: Contacted Pam about copper alert of 1.391. She said the same sink in room #2 was high again. The level was 2.756. On Oct. 26, 2013 they had an alert for lead and did plumbing replacement at that sink. They replaced the faucet, shut off valves and tubes. On Feb. 26, 2013 they resampled and received an alert for copper of 2.68 at that sink. Pam stated that the pipes had recently frozen and when she took the sample the water at that sink only looked really dirty/cloudy. They checked with the plumber and they made sure none of the replacement parts were from China and they werent. They had the circuit rider come out and they recommended they to some tracing of the water lines which they had done but it turned out to be inconclusive. The are continuing to work with the plumber to see if there are any leaks. The sink has not been in use since last year and remains turned off. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
