| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine coliform sample taken 11/5/2014 was positive for total coliform bacteria. DETAILS: Wanda Gendreau called. The repeat sample from the Pronto Pup was positive for total coliform. The samples from the tank and wellhead were negative for bacteria. The repeat sample from the Otis Store broke in transit. Wanda is going to chlorinate the tank and lines-- then flush the water system. She will do Public Notice and send a copy to us. ACTION NEEDED: In December she will do 5 routine samples. 11/17 Talked to Betsy Perry who suggested that the tank be kept filled at a level at which there is lots of turnover. Sometimes bacteria are related to a water tank that does not have much turnover. Discussed this with Wanda who will look at use. | ||
