| Details: | SUMMARY: Exceedence of turbidity triggers - CPE required DETAILS: I spoke with Scott, Midland board member, regarding the exceedence of filter effluent turbidity triggers during September, October and November, and the resulting requirement that a Comprehensive Performance Evaluation - CPE be conducted. We discussed the Associations options to have either DWS conduct the CPE for free, or a third party at a cost, and that the CPE would need to be completed by the end of February, or roughly 120 days after the October turbidity trigger exceedence. I forwarded a CPE brochure and a rough schedule of the state CPE to Scott and Phil White, operator in direct responsible charge. ACTION NEEDED: Scott to confer with other Board members and operators and get back with DWS within a week on the Associations preference of who will conduct the CPE, and some dates when plant staff are available in January to schedule plant visits, if DWS conducts the CPE. | ||
