| Details: | SUMMARY: COLIFORM, E.COLI DETAILS: 12-19-2014 Called the BEACHCOMBER MOTEL at 4:45pm talked with VACASA Property Management contact person Rachel. I explained to her that the Beachcomber Motel (now known as Beachcomber Cottages) had a routine water sample test positive for E.COLI. I advised her that the facility needs to obtain four water samples within distribution (one at the same sample point, one upstream, one downstream, one anywhere) and one sample from each active source (in this case three source samples from the three springs that supply the water). Rachel said she will relay the information to her operations person in the area.12-19-2014 At 5:15pm I had received a call from Lindsay the operations person for the Beachcomber Cottages. I repeated the information that I had given Rachel, that the facility needs to obtain four water samples within distribution (one at the same sample point, one upstream, one downstream, one anywhere) and one sample from each active source (in this case three source samples from the three springs that supply the water). ACTION NEEDED: Take 4 distribution samples and one sample from each active source (three samples are required because there are three springs that supply the water to the cottages) within 24 hours. | ||
