Details: | SUMMARY: Discussion of GWR and lifting the boil water notice DETAILS: After discussion with DWS management and Amy Chapman from Lincoln County EH I spoke with Joe Anthony and told him that if they could achieve 4 log viral deactivation they could lift the boil water notice. Joe reported that they a re maintaining a minimum of 0.4 ppm chlorine at the first user. The calculated peak flow is 9.5 gpm and the effective volume 900 gallons. The actual CT is 37 well above the required CT of 8.0 for 5 degree C water. If the chlorine residual at the first user is at 0.4 ppm or higher today and tomorrow (1/9 and 1/10/15) the system can lift the boil water notice. I emailed the GW disinfection report to the operator. Amy Chapman and I will work together next week to write the compliance monitoring letter. ACTION NEEDED: Send compliance monitoring letter next week. Tentatively scheduled follow-up site visit to the system. | ||
