| Details: | SUMMARY: MPA sampling follow up DETAILS: Several days ago Jake found some MPA sampling records which he had forwarded to DMCE. todays phone call discussed 12/17/14 letter from state saying the results were invalid due to only 187 gallons being filtered as opposed to 500 gallons minimum.also discussed June 2013 outlining requirement to collect samples via filter with 500 gallons passing through per sample event. Each of the 2 sample events are to follow a major precipitation within a week while spaced at least 30 days apart.a copy of both letters emailed.Question: would it be more cost effective to abandon the current well in use and try the well currently considered private serving a residence on the property. Discussion: unknown without performing sampling, but possible both wells come from same aquifer and unknown if the residential well can meet current demand. ACTION NEEDED: Operator to follow up on MPA sampling work due. | ||
