Details: | SUMMARY: RTC for resolution of E. coli contamination of well DETAILS: This system has resolved MCL violations for E.coli by taking TCR samples that were negative. In December the system took five repeat samples and one source sample. The system has also taken its first quarter sample and it also tested negative .We are requesting a RTC for the violation on Acute MCL for fecal Coliform or E coli as the water has been regularly tested and showing negative results for fecal Coliform or E Coli. There are violations for failure to forward Boil Water notices. Our staff verified that the notice was up on 6/14. We also insisted on the posting of additional notices at sample taps in the guest rooms as a condition of reopening the facility. We twice checked that the notice was still up. They stayed up until some follow-up coliform results came in, and until they acquired the proper type of chlorine test kit, verified on a site visit 9/28. Notices came down on 9/28. It doesnt look like they ever sent a copy to DMCE, despite reminders from us. But given that the notice is no longer in effect and they probably no longer have a copy, we are requesting RTC on those two violations as well. ACTION NEEDED: Check for continued compliance on testing for residuals, and coliform sampling of finished water. |
