Details: | SUMMARY: pressure complaint DETAILS: The caller would prefer to be anonymous but asked about the requirements to have at least 20 psi at the service connection. He has previously contacted his state senator. He says he frequently will lose water entirely, or just a dribble, for a few seconds or minutes. He has contacted the system and each time they measure the pressure it is 23-28 psi. He has also used his neighbors gage and it generally reads over 20 psi. However, he says that it goes under that frequently at his house. I explained the difference between pressure at the house versus pressure at the meter, and that maybe he needs an individual booster pump. He does not want to do that and feels the city should resolve the situation. ACTION NEEDED: Regional engineer (Rebecca) to contact City to make sure pressure at service connections does not drop below 20 psi. |
