| Details: | SUMMARY: Public Notice Unresolved Coliforms DETAILS: After Coos Co received email questioning the validity of a public notice sent to state DWS the following correspondence took place as follow up:After finding coliform present in a routine sample, Public Notice is required when coliform is again found in either the REPEAT samples or TEMPORARY ROUTINE samples. Information shared with tenants on April 2 (following up ROUTINE sample result showing coliform at end of March) might be good practice, but is not required.Public Notice became required within 30 days after REPEAT samples showed coliforms present on 4/21. the document shared on April 2 does not meet the Public Notice requirement because it was not shared in the 30 day window [april 21-May 21] and it also lacked an explanation of the violation/risk that occurred causing the notice. ACTION NEEDED: Provide Public Notice by May 21. | ||
