Details: SUMMARY: SDWRLF Letter of Interest Modification DETAILS: The Bly Water District provides water to 500 people (135 connections) in the City of Bly. The water system has a primary well which has experienced a reduction in production from 700 gpm to 300 gpm. The well pump was also heating up. Investigations by the well drilling company revealed that the well casing appears to be crooked. Previously provided recommendation to pursue replacement of the existing well. The District requested that the Circuit Rider provide analysis of system wide improvements so that they can pursue funding. Previously provided District with phased capital improvement recommendations and assisted with SDWRLF Letter of Interest. The District’s representative contacted the Circuit Rider make some changes in scope and cost for the Letter of Interest. Coordinated with District on revision of scope and cost of proposed capital improvements. ACTION NEEDED: Complete revision of costs and scope as needed.
