Details: | SUMMARY: Letter sent DETAILS: In order to return to compliance, water system shall contact Hood River County Health Department (in writing, and as soon as possible) and detail how and when the listed deficiencies from the 5/28/15 water system survey will be resolved. For you convenience, the deficiencies are listed below. For a complete description of these issues, review our letter dated 6/1/15.1. The spring box is vulnerable to environmental contamination via the vent opening on the front center (side) of the tank.2. Due to lack of access during the inspection, we were unable to verify whether the hatch lid is watertight and whether the overflow system at the spring box is adequately screened (and downward facing) because keys were not available and the overflow system was not visible.Conclusion:Hood River County Health Department performed a water system survey of ‘USFS Cloud Cap/Cooper Spur’ public water system on 5/28/15 and observed two significant deficiencies. The two deficiencies required thawater system contact Hood River County Health Department, Environmental Health office within 30 days and disclose (in writing) their intent regarding reaching compliance.
