| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli Positive Routine Sample DETAILS: Routine sample from Community Center sample location E. coli positive. Left message for Mary Woodworth regarding repeat sampling. Also, called and talked to Bob Nash, Lake Co. School Dist. Superintendent regarding positive E.coli sample. Informed Mr. Nash that the water system will need to collect 4 repeat samples within 24 hrs. Samples will need to be collected at the original sample location (Community Center), one sample within 5 connections upstream of the original sample location, one sample within 5 connections downstream from the original location and one raw water sample from the well (marked as triggered on the sample form). Also, informed Mr. Nash due to the remote location of the water system and the diffficulty in collecting repeat water samples within the 24 hr time frame, the water system should post a precautionary Biol Water Noice and/or close the school if the facility is not in use. Emailed Mr. Nash a Tier 1 Boil Water Adivisory Notive template. Also received an email from Ms. Woodworth shortly after talking to Mr. Nash that Grants Pass Lab collected repeat samples this morning. ACTION NEEDED: Collect 4 repeat samples within 24 hrs. | ||
